Day 1: Georgetown Arrival, reception and transfer to your
hotel, Le Meridien
Day 2: Kaieteur/Orinduik
Falls
After breakfast, departure to Ogle airport for the flight to Kaieteur
Falls. Kaieteur supports a unique microenvironment with Tank Bromeliads, the
largest in the world. You may also see the famous flights of the Kaieteur Swifts
or Makonaima Birds which nest under the vast shelf of rock carved by the
centuries of water, hidden behind the falling water. Continue with a
flight to the Orinduik falls. Late afternoon return to your hotel.
Day 3: Georgetown city
tour
City tour of historical Georgetown including the Botanical Gardens and zoo which
house one of the most extensive collections of tropical flora in the Caribbean.
Over 100 species of Guyanese wildlife can be observed at the Zoo including a
wide variety of tropical fishes and birds. We also visit the Demerara Harbour
Bridge, the longest floating bridge in the world.
Day 4: Luxury Rainforest Resort
Early departure to the beautiful Island Resort situate on the Essequibo River.
Sloth Island resort features all modern facilities with luxurious rooms, gym and
spa. The activities on this island include: Swimming, nature walks or just
relaxing in a hammock.
Day 5: Georgetown
Afternoon transfer to Georgetown and transfer to your hotel.
Day 6: Return (Breakfast & lunch)
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home
